Shaira Goc-ong

Psychologist

Shaira Goc-ong is a dedicated clinical psychologist, licensed psychometrician, educator, and an advocate for mental health. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Carlos, where she was honored with a CHED Graduate Studies scholarship.

In her role as a psychologist, Shaira conducts both teleconsultation and onsite counseling sessions with a diverse range of clients, fosters mental health awareness through insightful events, and teaches psychology to students who are passionate about advancing mental health awareness.

In practice, Shaira focuses on trauma and interpersonal psychotherapies, offering compassionate support to clients facing complex psychological traumas and interpersonal challenges. She uses key techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Behavioral Therapy, and Reality Therapy, all geared towards promoting healing and better relationship dynamics.

When she’s off the clock, Shaira loves spending time with her dogs, cooking for her family, binge-watching teleseryes, and hitting the road for some adventure.
