Inner Peace PH came to the University of San Carlos for their All Leaders’ Summit
Leaders guide their teams through hardships with their vision.
Inner Peace PH collaborated with the School of Architecture, Fine Arts and Design of the University of San Carlos in their All Leaders’ Summit last August 30, 2024. Ms. Shaira Goc-ong, one of Inner Peace’s psychologist, took the role as one of the speakers.
“Introspect: Illuminating the Hues of Creative Leadership” was the theme of the event. The talk focused on how leaders build strength especially when facing struggles. Later in the talk, Ms. Goc-ong discussed how crucial the leader’s role is to their teams.
The session started with defining leadership as the capacity to turn regular accomplishments into remarkable results. This first discussion emphasized the important role of leaders towards their team members.
Mosaic Workshop
A key section of Ms. Goc-ong’s session was the Leadership Mosaic Workshop. This was designed to explore the diverse facets of effective leadership.
The students created visual mosaics. The mosaics illustrated how different leadership styles can be effectively blended within teams.
Subsequently, this allowed the students to be immersed with the session. Using what they learned from the discussion into use.
This emphasized the essence of unity and skill. Each group was able to present their own works, showing off their own piece to other attendees.
Concluding the session
This session enlightened the aspiring young leaders. Moreover, part of the talk focused on the ongoing development of leadership skills. Undeniably, the session was a success of learning.
Each young leader showed their gratitude as they were bringing light into their own strengths. With each session bringing them closer to understanding how leaders and members go hand and hand.
The talk concluded with a motivational call to action. Ms. Goc-ong urged the young leaders to innovate and inspire testing out their leadership in real life scenarios.
Ms. Goc-ong encouraged attendees not just to walk on established paths but to create new ones that others will follow.
Inner Peace PH is grateful for the opportunity the University of San Carlos gave. We hope to be a stepping stone to the success of others in their journeys.
