Ashlinn Lua is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Associate at Inner Peace PH. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from De La Salle University – Manila.

With a deep commitment to serving diverse communities, Ashlinn has worked extensively with youth and families facing adversity. She provided therapy to minorities and Asian-Pacific Islanders in schools around the San Francisco Bay Area together with Community Youth Center – San Francisco. In the Philippines, she has worked with Restore Children and Family Services, a nonprofit organization in Cebu City, offering therapy to low-income families who have experienced complex trauma. She has also facilitated group therapy for young girls who have survived abuse in local shelters.

Her cross-cultural experience in both the United States and the Philippines equips her with a trauma-informed compassionate approach to therapy. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families in navigating life’s challenges and fostering healing and resilience.

Ashlinn is currently furthering her expertise by obtaining a certification in therapeutic play at the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy to better support children and adolescents.

Outside of her professional roles, Ashlinn enjoys spending time with her family and her dog. She also loves traveling, going to concerts, and playing board games with her friends.
